We searched for quite awhile for an interior designer who we wanted to work with. We wanted someone who “got us” someone we liked, someone patient, someone who could work with us and understand our style, modern, eclectic, indecisive, mid century….. we were all over the place at first we honestly didn’t know what we ultimately wanted… but let me tell you… WOW!!! We met Carla and I instantly loved her!!! Not only was she great at designs, but she was great with me, a new mom, a crazy Bengal cat, a teenager, a husband that changed his mind every other day, then add covid to all of that… she stayed, through all our chaos, she guided us, taught us, and now we have 2 newly remodeled bathrooms that we absolutely LOVE!!!! I highly recommend Carla for any design project, and I will be using her again in the future!!!

I had such a wonderful experience with Carla. She was attentive to my needs as a homeowner and wanting to capitalize my small space for a big family. She took inventory of my style and was able to provide two idea boards that resonated with the overall style of the house. I was very pleased with what she came up with. It was a wonderful mix of old world and contemporary. Issues and concerns came up along the way and she was just a phone call away to answer questions or move along the remodel process. I had an unexpected need to remodel my kitchen after water damage and needed help designing a kitchen that was larger, made more efficient use of space and appealed to me without being too personalized. My realtor friend recommended her to me and spoke so highly of her, I knew I needed to work with her. Carla with Novo designs was great. She exceeded my expectations with the kitchen better than I imagined. She designed a dream kitchen and I love cooking and just hanging out around it. She was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend her without reservation.

Carla was amazingly helpful in organizing us as we attempted to do a remodel during the pandemic. Her expertise, coolness under pressure and tremendous kindness make her a joy to work with. It was not easy starting from scratch in a house, we needed to replace every appliance, fixture and floor counter surfaces as well as cabinetry. Carla was able to guide us so that we were not overwhelmed. It would have been so much more difficult without her. Her attention to design was also incredibly on point, she gets to know her clients and drills down to their taste. This year was by far the hardest year to get anything done but Carla was fantastic and we are very happy with the results.

It was a real pleasure working with Novo Interiors. I live in a small home and Carla was able to find innovative ways to extra storage space, yet made my home look airy and light.
